War Breaks Out, Jesus Still Wins!

Blessings to my dear brothers and sisters in Jesus,

Throughout the pages of Holy Scripture we see the theme of spiritual war being placed front and centered. A prime of example of this is found in Revelation 12 describing the war that took place with the angels of God and the dark forces of Satan.

“Then war broke out in heaven. Michael and his angels fought against the dragon, and the dragon and his angels fought back. But he was not strong enough, and they lost their place in heaven. The great dragon was hurled down—that ancient serpent called the devil, or Satan, who leads the whole world astray. He was hurled to the earth, and his angels with him.”

Tonight at the evening crusade here in Lusaka spiritual war broke out –the spirits of Lucifer attacked the open air meeting. From the beginning, it was all out war. My ride to the crusade site was significantly delayed because of the President of Zambia was in the area earlier causing major traffic problems. Our loud speakers failed to work properly, 2 different microphones failed, I was barely able to speak as I was extremely hoarse from all of the preaching I have done, there was internal disagreements that arose among some of the pastors hosting the event regarding the use of equipment, it was unusually cold causing many not to attend, a sister in the Lord was in a severe traffic accident on the way to the meeting. The powers of the evil one prevented many from attending the meeting thus we had a low turn out –perhaps 300 or so.

The enemies of the cross have been furious with the incredible spiritual results that has brought glory to the Lord Jesus Christ! So, they attacked on multiple levels. I told the pastors not to be discouraged that we were going to preach the gospel even if only one showed up. So, after the last part of the “Jesus” film had ended I stood in the middle of the small crowd of people and preached JESUS! Though we were small in number, it didn’t sounded like it however. The people responded enthusiastically and approximately 60 or so souls were brought into the Kingdom of God. Because of my voice issues I was not able to conduct any mass deliverance but Jesus prevailed. Though Satan attempted to stop the crusade all together, the gospel still went forth in power and many souls were saved so Jesus still wins!
